The mission of the Catholic Young Adult Ministry in the Diocese of St. Catharines is to reach up and reach out…connecting, supporting, and empowering 19 – 39 year olds in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to each other through the Gospel.

All young adults are welcome –
whether in school or working,
whether single, married, or separated/divorced,
whether cradle Catholics who were raised and educated in faith or those who have drifted away and are searching for meaning and purpose from a life centred on Christ.

This diocesan group meets monthly, usually on the last Friday, for FEED YOUR FAITH. This evening features a simple supper, fellowship, and special time dedicated to prayer, discussion, and catechesis. Visit our "Around the Diocese" events page for current events.

In addition, other young adult gatherings and events will be scheduled and promoted throughout the year – many connected back to the parishes and work of Catholic partners throughout the region and beyond.

As this ministry grows and develops, true to the voice and vision of those young adults involved, special consideration will be given to developing a culture of leadership, social responsibility and evangelization, reminding each young Catholic of their discipleship, especially their witness within their families, social spheres, workplace, and their own local parishes.

The Family and Youth Office will support parishes interested in the evangelization and formation of young adults Catholics.
